Reconstruction of Psychology through Qur'an

a deep and critical study of modern psychology, tracing its ideas to their original sources, separating what is sound from what is not in the light of the Qur'an, and presenting a Qur'anic account of the human self in the vocabulary modern people already speak.

Object of this حلقہ: the human self — modern psychology examined critically, and a Qur'anic account of the نفس.

Outside it:

• Educational and child psychology applied to schooling — that is حلقۂ نظامِ تعلیم. This حلقہ owns the discipline; that one owns its application to learners.
• The biology and philosophy of science of Darwin — that is حلقۂ طبیعیات. Taken here only for its consequences for the human self.
• The construction of kalam — that is حلقۂ علومِ دینیہ.
• تفسیر as a discipline — that is حلقۂ علومِ دینیہ. The نفس verses are worked here for psychological reconstruction, not as an exercise in اصولِ تفسیر.
