the discipline itself — foundations, classical corpus, and the question of whether a jadeed ilm-ul-kalam is an emotional slogan or a real intellectual necessity — ending in two strategic frameworks: how to prove Islamic doctrine at the highest contemporary academic standard, and how to refute what contradicts it.

Foundations and history of ilm al-kalam; its relation to philosophy, logic and 'aqidah; classical mutakallimun; the philosophical schools that shaped and were opposed by kalam; the classical corpus (Tahāfut, Al-Radd); the contemporary reconstruction debate; assessment of present-day efforts; and two strategic frameworks (proof and refutation).

Object of this حلقہ: the religious sciences — عقائد و کلام, and (per the 2026-09-03 broadening) تفسیر, حدیث, فقہ و اصولِ فقہ and سیرت.

Outside it:

The internal history of Western philosophy — that is حلقۂ تاریخِ فلسفہ.
The empirical content of the natural sciences — that is حلقۂ طبیعیات, which supplies the آفاق material into the kalam.
Modern symbolic logic as a discipline — that is حلقۂ ریاضی و منطق. Classical منطق belongs here; that حلقہ builds the bridge between them.
Modern psychology — that is حلقۂ نفسیات.
Educational system design — that is حلقۂ نظامِ تعلیم.

Provisional boundaries for the newly added territory (drafted 2026-09-03; the cross-stream map predates the broadening and has no zone for these):

تفسیر: this حلقہ owns تفسیر as a discipline — اصولِ تفسیر, the schools, the mufassirīn. Every other حلقہ uses تفسیر instrumentally for its own domain, as دفعہ ۴. ۴ of the نظام العمل requires. In particular حلقۂ نفسیات works the نفس verses for psychological reconstruction without owning the discipline.
حدیث: this حلقہ owns the hadith sciences — اصولِ حدیث, رجال, criticism. حلقۂ نظامِ تعلیم draws on prophetic pedagogy as source material without owning them.
فقہ و اصولِ فقہ: legal theory sits here. حکمتِ احکام — the rationale of rulings — is a separate, still-unowned domain, and is not absorbed by this حلقہ.
سیرت: unresolved. Seerah is a domain HeS still needs. Whether it falls inside علومِ دینیہ or remains a separate حلقہ is not yet decided.
